As there is no detailed running order, we must follow the guidance provided:
Street Dance dancers: Please arrive at 9:00am (doors open)
Cheer dancers: Please arrive at 12:00pm

The event runs all day and times are approximate. Sections may run earlier or later, so dancers must be available for their full time block and arrive early for this reason.

ποΈ Wristbands (IMPORTANT)
Please collect your wristbands from Base Dance Front Desk when you attend the studio this week, before Saturday at 12:00pm.
You will not be able to enter the venue without a wristband
If you forget them, you may need to purchase another on the day and seek a refund from the organiser directly
BDPA staff cannot resolve this on the day
π Please put wristbands on before leaving the house for peace of mind.

Street Dance:
Hair: Off the face / ponytail
Outfit: Own choice of street dance wear
No jewellery
Cheer:
Uniform: Cheer uniform OR season T-shirt with black leggings/shorts
Footwear: White trainers or cheer shoes
Hair: High ponytail
Accessories: Poms & bow required

All dancers must wear their Base Dance hoodie and T-shirt when not performing
No visible underwear (including bra/crop top straps)
Event merchandise should not be worn in regular classes if purchased at the event

I have not received confirmation regarding food and refreshments at the venue.

Bring a packed lunch
Bring a water bottle
Ensure all rubbish is cleared and the area is left tidy
π On Arrival
When you arrive, please go straight into the venue and meet me at our designated seating area.

For this event, I have set up a BAND group for communication on the day.
This is optional and simply provides a quick way to communicate if needed (e.g. emergency, late arrival, lost dancer, illness).

Photography/video may be restricted – please follow instructions on the day
No new entries allowed on the day
If a routine is interrupted (e.g. music issue/injury), it will be re-danced
First aid will be available on site

Be prepared to stay for their full section
Be ready to perform at any point within their time block

π¨βπ©βπ§ SUPERVISION, SAFEGUARDING & PHOTOGRAPHY
Children's events operate under a BOPA (Body of Persons Approval) issued by the local authority where the event takes place.
Under these guidelines, all children up to school Year 11 must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times throughout the event.
Please note: Our teachers are present to guide dancers, support during performances. They are not responsible for supervising children throughout the day, there is no handover of children to teachers at the event.
There is a small amount of flexibility for older students; however, for younger children, it is essential that they remain under the supervision of a parent or responsible adult at all times.
πΈ Photography & Filming Guidance:
Parents/carers may take photos and videos of their own child only.
Please do not photograph, film, or post images/videos of other children on social media without permission.

WRISTBAND COLLECTION & INFORMATION

We cannot be responsible for reminding you or checking if you have collected them, so please ensure this is done before 12pm Saturday.
Please note that we do not know whether the event will sell out. If you bring additional people with you on the day who have not pre-purchased wristbands, there is a risk that entry wristbands may no longer be available on the door. This would be at your own discretion.
Wristbands purchased on the door can be charged at a higher rate.
Children under 3 are counted for room capacity purposes only and will not receive a physical wristband.

The event may run up to 45 mins ahead of schedule. We strongly recommend arriving at least 1 hour before your scheduled performance time.
If you arrive late and miss your section, unfortunately we cannot reinstate the performance.

St Annes-on-the-Sea Station: ~2 min walk, 22 spaces.
St George's Road: ~16 min walk, 250 spaces.

North Promenade: ~27 min walk, 195 spaces (approx. £1.00 - £3.50, charges apply 9am-6pm).

Once your child has completed all of their sections and received their awards (or been knocked out of rounds where applicable), you are welcome to leave.

Branded Studio Uniform: All students must wear the studio-branded uniform (at least a T-shirt & hoodie) for classes and events, excluding performances. Visible underwear is not permitted, and merchandise items purchased at the event should not be worn to studio classes.
