We are looking for a confident, reliable and inspiring Dance Teacher to join our team on a self-employed, term-time only basis.
This role involves teaching students aged 3–18 in Ballet, Tap and Jazz, with a teacher who is confident delivering syllabus work and preparing students for exams.
Hours:
Wednesdays from 4:15pm
Saturdays Morning to midday
Essential:
• Strong Ballet, Tap and Jazz training
• Confidence with syllabus and exam preparation
• Experience teaching ages 3–18
Required:
• Enhanced DBS
• First Aid
• Safeguarding Level 1
(All can be obtained if successful)

Front of House &
Studio Operations Lead
We are seeking a confident, organised and professional Front of House & Studio Operations Lead to join our team in a key operational role within our busy and growing dance studio.
This position carries increased responsibility and is ideal for someone looking to develop within a structured, fast-paced and child-centred environment.
🗓 Hours & Contract
Start Date (Training Commences): Tuesday 16th June 2026
Working Hours:
• Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday – 3:00 pm – 9:15 pm
• Saturday – 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
• Studio shows and events as required
• Additional ad-hoc hours may be available
📅 Term-Time Only Role: (following Lancashire County Council)
Please note: You will be required to work approx three weeks during the summer school holidays to support studio operations and ensure a smooth return in September.

💼 The Role
As Front of House & Studio Operations Lead, you will play a central role in the smooth day-to-day running of the studio during peak hours.
Front of House Leadership
• Acting as the main point of contact for parents, students and visitors
• Managing enquiries confidently in person, by phone, email and social media
• Maintaining a professional, organised and welcoming reception environment
Studio Operations
• Overseeing registers and attendance records
• Supporting class scheduling and studio organisation
• Managing dancewear and uniform sales
• Supporting café operations and stock control
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are consistently followed
Administrative Support to the Principal
• Supporting enrolments, invoicing and account management
• Updating student records and internal systems
• Assisting with show planning and event administration
• Drafting and coordinating parent communications
• Supporting the implementation of studio policies and procedures
Shows & Events
• Supporting studio productions and performances
• Assisting with front-of-house and backstage coordination
• Helping manage event logistics and communication

Experience in administration, hospitality, education or performing arts is desirable.
Please note: Applicants must not currently have a child enrolled at Base Dance.
