Uniform samples and tester sizes are available in the Base Dance Café. Please try these on to check your size before ordering.
Scan the QR codes in the café to go directly to the uniform collection for your dancer's class. All uniform must be ordered and paid for online. There are no uniform sales through the desk.
Online uniform orders are processed and packed every Saturday during term time.
Your order will be bagged and passed to your dancer in their class the following week. There is no need to come to reception to collect it.

Our new Base Dance uniform brings Dance, Cheer and Acro together under one confident look — with class-appropriate pieces for every age and level.
Dancers only need the pieces that suit their classes. The range is designed around a consistent black base, finished with the official Base Dance blue, gold and white branding.

The rebrand gives the studio one recognisable look while keeping the class-specific uniform details that support safe and effective training.
The Ballet, Tap and Jazz uniform remains the same. From FL1 upwards, the plain black leotard is replaced by the new printed black Base Dance leotard. Skirts, cardigans, tights, socks and dance shoes remain matched to the dancer’s level as shown in the guide below.
Early Years and First Steps continue in the pale pink all-in-one ballet leotard with skirt.
The main Base Dance logo appears on the front of key garments, with the compact B-star mark used on backs and lower garments across the range.
Used as the primary studio identity on tops and hero uniform pieces. Look for the official Base Dance logo when choosing uniform.

The collection is designed to offer choice, but the correct combination still depends on the style being taught.
A crop top, joggers or shorts may be suitable for one class but not another.

No. The collection is designed to give families suitable options. Use the class guide to select the correct top, bottom and footwear for the classes your dancer attends.
The existing level colours, skirts, cardigans, tights, socks and shoes remain. From FL1 upwards, the black leotard becomes the new printed black Base Dance leotard. Early Years and First Steps stay in the pale pink all-in-one.
They can be worn for arrivals, departures and warm-ups. Some styles, including Streetdance and Commercial, may use them as classwear. In technical, apparatus and acrobatic classes they must be removed whenever the teacher needs clear alignment or safer movement.
Continue following the current uniform requirements until the new range launches. Any transition arrangements for existing branded items will be communicated separately before September.
Trial students can wear safe, fitted dancewear or activewear with the correct footwear for the style. The official Base Dance uniform can be ordered after enrolment.
New families can check live availability and book a two-week trial through the Base Dance parent portal.
