Approved childcare
The care or supervised activity must be provided through an approved or registered childcare provider. Base Dance is registered with Ofsted for its approved childcare provision.
Eligible families may be able to use childcare vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare towards approved Base Dance sessions. Please follow the correct booking process, complete the parent declaration for regular classes and send us your payment evidence so we can allocate it accurately.

Childcare vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare are government-supported payment methods with specific rules. They cannot simply be used as a general discount on any activity.
The care or supervised activity must be provided through an approved or registered childcare provider. Base Dance is registered with Ofsted for its approved childcare provision.
The main reason, or one of the main reasons, for the childcare cost must be to enable the parent to work, or both partners to work where applicable.
You are responsible for confirming that your circumstances and payment meet the scheme rules. Base Dance cannot decide your personal eligibility on behalf of HMRC or your voucher provider.
Activity classes can qualify: HMRC guidance includes supervised activity classes such as ballet or football training as examples of childcare outside compulsory education. All qualifying conditions must still be met. If you are uncertain, check with HMRC or your childcare voucher provider before paying.
Follow these steps in order so your child is enrolled correctly and your payment can be matched to the right Base Dance account.
Register through the Base Dance parent portal. A fee must be showing on your account before you send a voucher payment.
Open the parent portal →Confirm that you understand the qualifying childcare rules and are using the payment method for an appropriate legal purpose.
Complete the declaration →Pay through your Tax-Free Childcare account or voucher provider. Regular class payments must reach us at least seven days before the start of term.
Email the receipt, payment reference, child’s name and the classes being paid for. Some providers do not include the child’s name.
Email the receipt →Search in your childcare account using the details below. The provider may appear as Base-Dance Partnership or Base-Dance Performing Arts Academy.
Please note: Ofsted and childcare payment search systems may display the registered address as Unit G H3, while the current Base Dance studio contact address is Unit H.
Camp places must be booked before a childcare payment is sent. The camp fee will be added to your Base Dance account when the booking is complete.

Sending your receipt promptly helps us identify the transfer. Please do not send a second payment unless our team confirms that the first has failed.
