BDPA Newsletter - April & May 2026
Hello everyone,
We hope you are all enjoying the Easter break and getting some well-earned rest.
It’s hard to believe how quickly this season has moved on since we started back in September 2025. We’ve loved seeing both our new and returning students grow in confidence, develop their skills, and make such lovely progress throughout the year so far.
As we look ahead to April and May 2026, we have lots coming up at BDPA, and this newsletter will keep you updated with everything happening, from key dates to important reminders for the weeks ahead.

'Disney Dreams' is coming this term!
We're thrilled to share that our 2026 annual show will be called "Disney Dreams: Park to Park", in celebration of our trip to perform at Disneyland Paris next year! Mark your calendars: show dates are the 11th & 12th of July.
Sign up deadline is April 12th and you can find out more about the show / getting involved at the link below.
We are also currently looking for parent helpers to support the show. If you’re able to lend a hand, you can find more information and a sign-up form on the show page.
Finally, if you or your business would like to advertise in our show brochure, we’d love to hear from you. The deadline for adverts is 1st June, as the programme will need to be sent to print shortly after.
Child Protection Policy (Summer '26) 👧🏼
- All primary-aged children must be collected from inside the building.
- Staff will not allow children to leave the classroom without an adult present.
- Senior students may leave on their own, but please remind them that if a parent/guardian isn’t outside, they must return inside the building and wait with staff.

Our Acro & Contemporary teams competed on Sunday 1st March and both brought home 🥇 1st place!
We also celebrated some fantastic solo results, and we are so proud of every dancer who stepped onto that floor 💜
Mark your calendars! After the huge success of our Secret Garden Aerial Hoop Showcase a couple of weeks back, our next one - themed to a Carnival in the Air - will be taking place on Tuesday July 7th, next term. Wristbands are available Tuesday June 23rd. See you then!
We are so proud of all our cheerleaders and street dancers who performed at Dance Blast in March!
The standard was incredible, with everyone showing fantastic confidence, energy, and teamwork while representing Base so beautifully.
These moments are what it’s all about ❤️
We also wanted to say a huge congratulations to all of our amazing dancers who took their NPAA exams with us in March. You were incredible and we couldn't be prouder!
